Crew Assignments 2016-2017

Crew is a graduation requirement for all students at Renaissance.  Crews are comprised of around 15 students and one teacher. Students stay in the same Crew throughout 6-8 grades, and then are placed into new Crews for grades 9-12.  It is a time each day where students can check in and complete academic work, learn important team-building and decision-making skills, conference weekly with the teacher, and build close relationships with Crewmates and their teacher through outins and team building activities.  Students and teachers often refer to Crew as their "school family."  Crew teachers act as the point person between their students' families and the school.  All students participate in Student Led Family Conferences, and 8-12th graders must complete a year-long, intensive project in Crew (see links below for details).
