To our beloved long time librarian; Ms. Teresa Pfeifer
1955-2017

Ms. Pfeifer held a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Simmons College, Boston; as well as a Master of Fine Arts degree in Writing from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. She loved to be active in the library community as a book reviewer and readers’ guide writer, and she had served as a judge for the Massachusetts Center for the Book. A past recipient of a Massachusetts Artist Grant, her poetry has appeared in journals such as The Massachusetts Review, Verse, and Crazy Horse. A Springfield native, Ms. Pfeifer enjoyed hiking in the woods, and walking with her dog, Morris.
